![]() When I told them I didn't want to pay the expensive $45/night valet fee they basically walked me through 2 other options for parking that were much cheaper. The Opel bar and lobby area have a small/boutique feel, reminded me of early-mid 1900's (in a good way). I was very impressed with the hotel, the staff and location. I booked the room when it was formerly the Westin, and I got extremely lucky! We stayed in a premium corner room for 5 nights for our trip to Portland and surrounding areas. I will one hundred percent be staying there again. The Dossier was honestly a gem, and I am so happy that we stumbled across it. They also have a complimentary cocktail hour which is a plus. The staff was super accommodating, from holding our bags until our flight to printing out documents, someone was always willing to help. ![]() Seriously, sleeping on the beds felt like sleeping on clouds. The manager said we could keep the bed if we got it out of the hotel, but failed to get it out of our room. oh lord were they the most comfortable beds we ever slept in. which was so nice in case you were wondering. The room was perfect, there was a stand alone tub and a beautiful rain shower. Then we traveled up to our room on the fourteenth floor which just had the most amazing view. Upon arrival the front desk concierge was extremely welcoming, and explained to us all the must sees in Portland. This hotel, first and foremost, was centrally located and was extremely easy to get to via public transportation. ![]() You know how you travel to a place for the fIrst time and you take a chance on a hotel, well that's what I did with Dossier and it was the best decision of my life.
